42 inch HD Plasma TV which lost all power. First visit was 17 May, problem diagnosed and parts ordered. Second visit was 21 May with new parts and upgrade firmware. Extremely happy with service and results. Called them, they called back and set up diagnose appointment. Came at appointment time, quickly took apart TV and did a very through check. Diagnosed problem and suggested upgarde of power boards. I had already check through the manufacturer;s web site what the problem might be and also the current status of the firmware and software on my TV. I had a good idea of what was wrong. Certified confirmed what I was thinking and really demonstrated their knowledge of the systems. They gave me an estimate of what the parts might cost but called after they ordered and informed me that the parts were less expensive than originally estimated. They ordered parts and when they came in, they called set up a fix date and came on time. Fixed the set quickly and provided information to me on upgrading the software inside the TV from the manufacturers web site. I was able to download and upgarde the software myself. Not sure if the cost was expensive for this type of repair but it was what was quoted except for the reduction in price of the parts. I have used Certified Electronics on two different occasions. The first time was several years ago when they came out to my house and repaired a TV-VCR-CD combo. They had to order a part told me that they would return in 7 days and true to their word showed up on time and repaired my TV. The second time that I called them was for a rear projection screen Sony HD TV. The owner of the company showed up on time diagnosed the problem and told me that he would call me because he wanted to check the prices of the parts. He call that evening and recommended that I scrap the TV and purchase a new one because repairing it would be close to the price of a new HD TV. Not only did he lose business by not repairing my set but recommended which brands and types of HD TV's were the best. After I bought a new HD TV I called and thanked them. The owner and his employees are knowledgeable, pleasant and I would use their services anytime.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CERTIFIED ELECTRONICS..
